The planned date for the change is 2017-03-15.
The removal will affect at least these public channels:

institution/uc-berkeley/ (gone as of 2017-03-16)id354813951 - http://webcast.berkeley.edu/
series (index of links to YouTube and iTunes) (as of 2017-03-16, directs you to coursecapture.berkeley.edu which is behind CalNet login)
The removal is apparently already a fait accompli, but good for people all to know about in case of positive future developments.
