AC power good, Wi-Fi ... worked around with member provided access point: Re: BerkeleyLUG meetup this Sunday 2018-03-25 at 85c Bakery

Fair number of us are here already - several of us even got here before
noon.  And the Wi-Fi ... well, the complimentary Wi-Fi ... ain't
happening (they have a sign on their door) ... but ...
one of us here has set up a Wi-Fi hot spot ... and that's working
fairly well ... including both IPv4 and IPv6 ([S]NATed) Internet
access.

Hey everyone,

Timely reminder here that the second BerkeleyLUG
meetup of the month and the very first one of Spring
is this upcoming Sunday, March 25th, from 12Noon
to 3:00pm PDT at 85c Bakery, www.85cbakerycafe.com.
The BerkeleyLUG meetup notice is also listed at
www.berkeleylug.com/meetings.

85c Bakery is located at 21 Shattuck Square in Downtown
Berkeley; the Southeast corner of Shattuck and University.
When you enter the main doors of the bakery/cafe, turn
left to look for the long table that's been reserved for
the meetup; it's on the first floor next to the East
wall and is fairly-decently handicapped-accessible.
In addition, you can easily spot the BerkeleyLUG meetup
table from the two or more laptops that one particular
regular-participant typically sets up there.

Any of you planning on dropping by this Sunday for the
meetup are welcome to bring along extra surge-protected
power strips and long, grounded extension cords for
powering the various computing devices you're bringing
along with you.

Let's hope that 85c Bakery will have reasonably strong
WiFi signal available for we BerkeleyLUG participants at
the reserved table even *well after* 1pm.
