Re: BerkeleyLUG meetup this Sunday 2019-10-13 at Cafe Blue Door

Ok to follow up for the give away. I bought a lot for $25. So I would like to sell over of the things for $25 to make my money back.

Third gen iPad, I think it is 16GB, for $25 It didn't come with charge cable but I may have one. I'll look. It is charged and reset.
Free stuff:

Mac mini original. Core solo CPU so only 33 bit. I don't know the ram as I haven't powered it yet. I think it had DVI.

Another Mac mini but I think it is core 2 duo 64 bit capable. I'm thinking to keep it but if someone really wants it...  I haven't powered it up yet. Has mini DVI and I don't have a cable for that. Also mini DP and I may have that cable and a monitor to test.

Box of LED bulbs. Marked 2015. But I don't think they have a set lifetime. In my undergrad statistics I learned that electronic components expected lifetime doesn't change with it's age. So if the bulbs have an expected 10 year life and they are already 10 years old then the expected life is still another 10. Maybe that is not right in this case.

3 Eee PC laptops. They have like 9 in screens. Only 2 power supplies.  Two of them have very small msata drives like 8GB. One windows XP other Linux mint. Third one takes a regular 2.5 drive but the driver removed. For ram it would be 1GB or less. The max supported would be 2 GB.

Antique Sony stereo AmFm radio real wood veneer  maybe only if interest to a vintage Sony collector.

Two LCDs maybe 22in, one monitor the other tv.

Hey everyone,

A timely reminder here that the first BerkeleyLUG
meetup of the month (and very first one of Fall
2019...really Fall this time!) is this upcoming
Sunday, October 13th, "officially" happening
from *11am to 2pm PDT at Berkeley's Cafe Blue Door.
*note the revised times, as previously posted
on this mailing-list.

The time and dates of meetups are also viewable
at www.berkeleylug.com/meetings
Unofficially, some of the BerkeleyLUG participants
have regularly hung-around at past meetups, working on
various projects and/or engaging in discussion/training
even well past the "official" ending-time.

Cafe Blue Door is located at 2244 Bancroft Way;
across the street from Cal's Edwards Stadium near
the extreme Southwestern corner of the campus.
Also see its Yelp page at https://www.yelp.com/biz/cafe-blue-door-berkeley
and its Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BerkeleyFloorCafe/
When you enter the front door of the cafe, look
around for a gathering of other recognizable Linux
aficionados sitting around the large table with laptops
and other small computing devices as well as for the
small sign indicating the presence of the group.

Those of you dropping by this Sunday for the meetup are
welcome to bring along extra surge-protected power
strips and long, grounded extension cords for powering
the various computing devices you're bringing along with
you, duly taking into account the cafe's power-outlet
and space constraints surrounding the large table.
As before, we would kindly request that all meetup
attendees please accommodate everyone else present
at the table even including non-BerkeleyLUG
patrons at the Cafe, especially now that the Fall
Semester is in full swing with many of Cal's students
choosing to study at the Cafe.

Thanks, Cheers and See ya' there!
-A

*Note again BerkeleyLUG's revised
11am to 2pm meetup time.
