[Phillylambda-talk] new Erlang book coming out soon

Hi all,

Joe Armstrong, the inventor of the Erlang programming language, is coming
out with a new book very shortly (July 16 is its ship date) about Erlang.
I have the beta copies and they are very good. If you're interested in
message passing concurrency and purely functional languages, you should
check it out:

Also, the first half of an older book on Erlang (not by Joe) is available
here:

This one might not be completely up-to-date, however, and the really
interesting parts appear to have been in the second half which is not
(TMK) available online. Also, the print book is out of print. So, you got
that going for you, which is nice.
