The Ning jobs page suggests that you start your own group, figure out
what you like / don't like so you can have a basis for discussion --
they can see what kinds of ideas, preconceptions, or insights you have
- about a common domain. That will make the interview process more
valuable than the typical "so what have you been doing recently" and
having to align the understanding of things between the interviewer
and interviewee - before any real evaluation can take place. If you
have experience with their platform (which they do too), then you can
immediately (well, at least more quickly) start having a productive
conversation.
