Hi everyone, First of all, apologies to anyone on the Philly Ruby mailing list that has already seen this message. I just wanted to let everyone know that Wharton is hosting the Supernova Hub Conference [http://supernovahub.com] on July 29th and 30th. This year’s theme is Perestroika. Supernova explores the transformation of computing, communications, business, and society in the Network Age. Held since 2002, Supernova events bring together several hundred leading executives, entrepreneurs, intellectuals, government officials, and business practitioners to make connections, discuss emerging trends, and discover innovative new ideas and companies. Day 1 of Supernova will consist of roundtable discussions and an unconference style event. Day 2 will have scheduled talks as well as some Pecha Kucha presentations. Both days will be followed by receptions.
This certainly won’t be as tech-heavy as Philly ETE, RailsConf, or OSCON, but overall appears to be a well rounded conference. Also, the theme contains references to the Soviet Union. Who doesn’t enjoy that? Thanks, -- Hector
