I found the Pro Git book very useful for getting up to speed on DVCS fundamentals (and git in particular). There's a print version but it's also available online at http://progit.org/book/. He is a very experienced engineer coming in with a CVS background as far as version control goes. So, ideally, a git book that is no fluff but also touches on DVCS concepts in general as well as git specifics. > > Thanks in advance, > Tom. > > > >
