The Philly, Boston and New York Scala user groups have combined to organize the
first Northeast Scala Symposium, to be held in New York on February 18th.

Headline speaker will be Daniel Spiewak. Jonas Bonér (of Akka fame) should also
be there, giving a talk. There are other talks being formulated, and more than
50 people have already RSVP'd.
There are still open slots, if anyone is interested. Admission is $50, which
covers our expenses. Food and drink will be provided. Currently, the venue is
the Meetup headquarters.
