Third A.I. Winter Event: "An Inductive Inference Machine" (02/07/2013 6:30PM)

Hi all,

The third A.I. Winter event will be held at 02/07/2013 at 6:30pm at the Comcast Center in Center City Philly. Our last event was a a great success. I am looking forward to this one!
 
We will be studying the paper "An Inductive Inference Machine" by Ray Solomonoff. This paper is the basis of Machine Learning, explaining the theory behind how a machine can make predictions from observations.
 
Get the paper at http://world.std.com/~rjs/indinf56.pdf. Please read the paper beforehand, and come with questions. Remember, you don't have to understand the entire paper to participate. This event is all about communal learning.

Our event will be on the 45th floor of the the Comcast Center. Comcast Interactive Media will be covering pizza and soda for the event.

We'll have beer afterwards at Nodding Head. See you there!
