RE: [PhillyOnRails] Fwd: Please RSVP For February PoR Meeting

I think Aaron’s directions are correct from Northeast Philadelphia, but if I’m reading the request correctly, you’re coming from the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike.  If that’s the case, then I’d try:

I-476 South (the Northeast extension) directly thru tollbooth at mid-county connection to stay on I-476S. to I-76 East toward Philadelphia (I think exit 15) to 30th Street exit (staying in the right lane to avoid going on Vine Street expressway) at which point Aaron’s directions are correct (pick up at neoclassical building).

95 south to 676 west take the 76 / 30th street station exit. then, you will go down a hill and around a sharp turn.. bare right up towards the neoclassical building (thats 30th street sation.) Continue to bare right at every opportunity, this will lead you onto JFK blvd. park anywhere you see a spot. JFK will dump you onto Market, right by 32nd street, and you will see "Drexel" everything.

IIRC, matheson is On market, between the big building with lots of glass (bossone engineering or something) and the blue and brick one (lebow college of business)

anyone wanna double check those?

Ok, I'm officially rsvp'ing. I need really good directions though. I'm traveling south on the turnpike (from Northeast PA), so if anyone has very good direction to Drexel, please shoot them my way.

Hey, I'll assume that's a joke at my expense ;-)

Absolutely :)

Though, actually could someone provide a street address for Matheson Hall? I could find blueprints of it online, but not the address offhand...

Please RSVP for the next meeting of PhillyOnRails which will be held at Drexel University on Monday Feb. 26 in Matheson Hall, room 109. We'll get started at 7:00 PM.

Mike Zornek will talk on Credit Card Validation and Gateway Processing With ActiveMerchant and Flinn Mueller will also be presenting on eCommerce.

Depending on space and response, we would like to open the meeting to Drexel students so it is important to RSVP. Of course no one will be turned away that has not sent an RSVP. The RSVP email link on the phillyonrails.org landing page still has Erin's email address. I'll see about getting that changed to my address but for now it's ok if some RSVP emails go to Erin.

I'll send another nag email in a week or so. I hope to see many of you at the meeting or at the next pub night (Mon. Feb. 19 at Chaucer's Tabard Inn).
