That's a good point, I think I am going to throw the app into the
production environment locally and see if I have the issue. If I do,
then I know it's the environment, not the host. If there is no
problem, then it's probably safe to say it's the host...and the
troubleshooting gets harder :-P

Perhaps take a look at the files in config/environments and see what is
different between production.rb and development.rb.
Not a very specific tidbit of help, I know. But nonetheless that could help
you troubleshoot.
