I'm working on a bunch of facebook apps.

I'm partial to facebooker for facebook development. I used rfacebook  
but just never liked the PHP feel of it. Chad told me about facebooker  
a few months ago and we've been using it ever since. It's still a work  
in progress but it's getting better. We just checked in some code that  
allow you to use sessions out of the box with facebook. You should  
even be able to transition back and forth between the facebook canvas  
and a regular web app within the next few days.
