RE: Survey on date and topic of Abigail's talk

Learning OOP is the next major frontier for me and PERL.
So I'm for either the objects or references (the latter subject I'm
convinced is somehow critical for creating the former).

Subject: Survey on date and topic of Abigail's talk

I found Abigail on #perl this morning and asked if he was still
planning on visiting phl.pm in a few weeks. Here's what he had to
say:

09:31 <@waltman_> march 11 is still good?
09:32 <@Abigail> March 11 if fine. March 18 is fine as well. Maybe
                 even better.
09:32 <@waltman_> do you have a topic?
09:34 <@Abigail> Not yet. I've a (longish) regex tutorial, a tutorial
on modules/objects and one on variables & references
                 - but that's a sequel in two parts. Or I could do a
                 ragbag of several smaller items.

I told him I'd ask on the list which date and topic people would
prefer. Let's try to reach a consensus by Monday night at ISB. That
will give Abigail plenty of time to plan his schedule, and me plenty
of time to announce the meeting, line up the room, etc.

Walt
