FYI... YAPC is fast approaching. One difference this year is that there won't be any cheap dorm housing available. The Cheshire Lodge comes highly recommended by a former St. Louis native as one of the best places to stay near wustl. It's got reasonable rates, a quaint English-style pub, and it's only a 10 minute walk from campus. If you call, be sure to ask for the conference rate and/or the AAA rate. Also, if you're thinking of submitting a proposal to give a talk this year, the deadline is May 1, just two weeks away. See http://www.yapc.org/America/cfp.shtml for more information.
