This is a reminder that tonight, April 21, Mark-Jason Dominus will be practicing his OSCON[1] tutorial "Making Programs Faster: Benchmarking, Profiling, and Performance Tuning"[2]. The talk will be held in Heilmeier Hall (room 100, formerly Alumni Hall) in the Towne Building at the University of Pennsylvania. The Towne Building[3] is located at 220 South 33rd Street in Philadelphia. The talk will begin at 6 PM and will last until about 9:30, including a 30-minute break in the middle. Mark asks for a voluntary donation of $10 to cover his costs in preparing the class. If you're planning on attending, Mark asks that you send email to mjd-tpc-practice-performance+@plover.com so that he has an idea how many people will be attending and so that he'll know how many handouts to bring. Mark also says that the room has plenty of space, so even if you don't send him an email you can still feel free to just show up tonight. 1. http://conferences.oreillynet.com/os2003/ 2. http://conferences.oreillynet.com/cs/os2003/view/e_sess/4056 3. http://www.facilities.upenn.edu/mapsBldgs/view_map.php3?id=158 - **Majordomo list services provided by PANIX <URL:http://www.panix.com>** **To Unsubscribe, send "unsubscribe phl" to majordomo@lists.pm.org**
