On AIX there's already a /usr/bin/f :

f Command
Purpose
Shows user information. This command is the same as the finger command.

(yes it's just a shortcut to finger, why it couldn't just be an alias
I don't know...)
I forgot others here already rely on the existing 'f', maybe I'll call
the new one fnum....
