"Testing PHP with Perl" talk in NYC tomorrow

hi all...

I mentioned this before, but just as a reminder, I'll be in NYC tomorrow
(the 26th) to give a talk to NYPHP (with PHP notable Chris Shiflett) which
may interest some perl people living dual lives :)

"Testing PHP with Perl - Lots of people use PHP for Web development. Lots of
people use Perl for testing. Why can't we be friends? This fun but genuine
talk will show how developers can use the power of the Apache-Test framework
to improve the overall quality of PHP applications using Perl's mature
testing tools and methodologies."

having actually come up with the material (and much of the code) since we
conceptualized the idea, I can say that the talk should be really
interesting for both perl and php folks alike - chris and I are having lots
of fun with it, experimenting and actually being productive in eachother's
native environments.

details can be found here:

http://nyphp.org/content/calendar/view_entry.php?id=63&date=20041026

note that you need to register with the venue *by today* to get entry into
the building (link at the bottom of the above link).

I know that this conflicts with tomorrow's ny.pm meeting, but I didn't set
the NYPHP schedule and the event date was sent months ago. sorry.
