Perl Seminar NY Tuesday, April 19, 6:15-8:15 pm NYPC User Group 481 8 Avenue (Ramada New Yorker hotel) Suite 1560 between 34th & 35th Sts, Manhattan, right near Penn Station Jon Meek: "More Network Monitoring and Measurement with Perl." This talk will expand on the introductory version given at the first PerlSemNY of the season. It will cover details of a couple of the mon monitor scripts used to acquire data, data analysis, and data presentation techniques. Packet analysis with Perl, application profiling, and network stress testing will also be discussed.
The Eclipse IDE has been a mainstay for Java programmers for several years. It is stable, integrates well with CVS, and handles large projects with ease. Now it has a new plug-in called EPIC that adds many benefits for Perl programmers. Jim Keenan
