Subject: Moose Class in Philadelphia this December?

If my health allows, I will be on the east coast this December for my
father's 65th birthday (shh, don't tell him!).

I'll be in town from the 18th - 30th, and I'm interested in offering
my one day Introduction to Moose class. I could do it basically any
day from the 12/21-29, but I'm thinking the best days are probably
Monday the 21st or Tuesday the 22nd.

The class would be somewhere in the $150-200 range per person. The
class has gotten great feedback from attendees so far. Most recently,
folks said:

* "The slides were excellent in style and content. The spoken part was
engaging and clear."

* "The exercises were awesome! I really love how they were set up as
test cases--there is really no other way to give this much feedback!"

You can read more about the class content on my blog at http://blog.urth.org/2009/09/moose-class-in-minneapolis-september-23-2009.html

I'm talking to Walt about finding a room at Drexel, so hopefully it
will be there.

If that doesn't work out, maybe someone has a place of business that
could host me and at least 10 people (ideally, more), let me know. The
host would obviously get in free. I have a projector, so I just need a
screen. Attendees do exercises on their laptops, so we'd need a chair
and table/desk for each person.

If none of those work out, I'll just rent a room at a hotel somewhere
in the city, so it can happen one way or another, don't worry about
the venue.

If you're interested, please email me back directly and tell me what
dates work for you.

Thanks,

-dave
