[Plug] Error setting up X in Redhat 6.0

I'm getting an error message trying to do an Xconfigurator to setup X in
Redhat 6.0. I have a Toshiba Tecra 720CDT dualbooting Linux and Win98. I
have checked out the Websites for installing on my specific notebook, but
can't seem to find the answer. The error is: "Can't read existing card
database". I am using a Xircom CEM10/100 56K combo pccard. I found the
source for this card on the net and compiled it, but I am not sure if the
error is related to my pccard drivers or something else. I have reinstalled
Linux three times and still get the same error.

HELP!
