[Plug] Windows CE Palmtop & Linux

Ok, Here it is. I have an NEC palmtop with CE loaded. It connects to the
serial port with a cable or IR. However, I want to blow away my NT system, and
load Linux on the box.
// Meander mode = 1
(I still think it's a crime that I have to keep my fastest machine for the OS I
use the least...but that's another email) and do away with M$ software
alltogether, except my oldest daughter's 98 box, that she is beginning to want
Linux on....hmmm...eventually I will need _something_ to use as a ytest system,
maybe I'll load my old 486 with DOS & Win 3.11 again...I think that'll be
acceptable for a test box.
// Meander mode = 0
I am wondering, if I have Samba set up, does anyone know of a way to make
windows CE talk to the Linux system? I'm primarily concerned with my wife's
email, and address book, and so on, (She's the one who uses the palmtop) in the
absence of NT/M$ in general.
Or as an alternative, has anyone ever tried loading Linux onto an NEC Palmtop
400 (I think that's the number)? Is it possible?

Peace,
Vale
