Why not stick in a Pentium upgrade chip as well for around $70? I think they'll work with the SX chips. I know they work with 486DX2/50's. -----Original Message----- From: plug-admin@lists.nothinbut.net [mailto:plug-admin@lists.nothinbut.net]On Behalf Of Tracy Nelson Sent: Tuesday, August 17, 1999 10:53 AM To: plug@lists.nothinbut.net Subject: Re: [Plug] Old Computers http://www.allelec.com is selling NEC 486SX/25 boxes (4MB, 2 ISA, IDE, floppy, 2S/1P, 512K VGA) for $30. Plug in one of their VGA LCD displays for $90, add a cheap hard drive & network card & you're there! -----Original Message----- From: Morgan Wajda-Levie <mpwl@locke.ccil.org> To: plug@lists.nothinbut.net <plug@lists.nothinbut.net> Date: Monday, August 16, 1999 22:31 Subject: [Plug] Old Computers I'm not sure if I've brought this up on this list or not, but does anybody have any old 486s that they don't need any more and would be willing to sell to me? _______________________________________________ Plug maillist - Plug@lists.nothinbut.net http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug _______________________________________________ Plug maillist - Plug@lists.nothinbut.net http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug
