This confuses me. 192.168.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 1500 0 0 Yet you seem to be using 192.168.1.255 as your network. Maybe I'm missing something, but I think you need to add a route for the right network.... try this: route add -net 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 dev eth0 Then retry the connection. J.
