[Plug] Real stumper? XServer forgets itself...

After RH6.0 install, X runs great, restarts great, etc. Upon reboot, startx
generates the folowing error. I then run setup, redo the X configuration,
startx runs fine until the next reboot. I'm stumped...
Errors:
_FontTransSocketUNIXConnect: can't connect: errno=111
Failed to set default font path 'unix/:-1'
fatal server error: could not open default font 'fixed'
x connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)
