I dont have info on Bell, but I do have info on UUnet. Call 800 258 9687. I had answers in like 5 minutes. The girl I spoke with was very helpful. 384k lines are $185 (SDSL)/mo. There's no setup fee and the router is included with the monthly bill. I'm not sure how long this deal is going on for. As for support.... No DSL provider I spoke with had a really OS support type agreement. The downside to DSL is that there's no guarenteed response time. Normally when you have a T1, you're guarenteed a 4 hour (or less) response time in the event of an outage. DSL isnt as reliable. Then again... its an order of magnitude cheaper. Depending on the level of service you need, DSL may not be the right answer. A lot of providers that offer cheaper monthly fees have agreements similar to those offered by cable companys. Home use only, no servers, etc. Just be sure to ask all the relevent questions up front. ----- Original Message ----- From: valiant <valiant@voicenet.com> To: <plug@lists.nothinbut.net> Sent: Sunday, October 17, 1999 7:12 PM Subject: [Plug] ADSL ...again > Hey guys/gals.
