RE: [Plug] AOL Instant Messager...what ports?

Blocking traffic to the server might be what's necessary. I'll look into
this aspect.

If thats the case, block all traffic to the aim servers. I dunno if
there's a list or if its just toc.oscar.aol.com and login.oscar.aol.com
