debian ttysnoop was written a long time ago -- before 2.2 kernel -- and it doesn't use the Unix98 pty standards. I've tried to get in touch with the person "managing" it and never got a reply... darxus@op.net on 12/06/99 11:58:29 AM Please respond to plug@lists.nothinbut.net To: plug@lists.nothinbut.net cc: (bcc: Thomas A Burba/USVISION) Subject: Re: [Plug] ttysnoop and /dev/vcs# On Mon, 6 Dec 1999, Darxus wrote: > Actually, the "screen" program might help. So your user should be able to log into the linux box, run screen, go about their business as usual, have problems call you up, let you connect to their screen while they're doing stuff so you can see what they're doing. I still don't know why ttysnoop wouldn't work... I missed that part. This is what it's for, after all. __________________________________________________________________ PGP fingerprint = 03 5B 9B A0 16 33 91 2F A5 77 BC EE 43 71 98 D4 darxus@op.net / http://www.op.net/~darxus Find the next largest prime, be famous: http://www.mersenne.org/prime.htm _______________________________________________ Plug maillist - Plug@lists.nothinbut.net http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug _______________________________________________ Plug maillist - Plug@lists.nothinbut.net http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug
