Ironically, a fair amount of the message traffic on the issue (here, Slashdot,
etc) has tended to portray the Linux community as louts, scofflaws, and
ne'er-do-wells. Such an image, even if largely undeserved, isn't likely to
engender confidence in the business world, whether about DVD for Linux, or other
Linux issues.
