Hey, I'm having a hell of a time figuring out this scsi problem. I upgraded warhammer to 2 (soon to be 3) seagate baracuda drives. If I cat /proc/scsi/aic7xxx/0 the hard drives are negotiaoting a 20m/sec transfer rate. How do you enable 40? I enabled it in the scsi bios. Also, in order to get the drives detected, I had to go into the scsi settings and change the termination from automatic to Low ON/High ON. Whats that all about? The drives are attached to an LVD cable, and have unique ID's set. Weirdness. I'm not overly familiar with SCSI stuff so I'm runing out of ideas. All 3 drives are seagate barracuda drives. They should be UW. I have a cheetah drive in my workstation and an adaptec 7890 controler. It negotiates 80M/sec just fine. Here's the relevent messages from dmesg: (scsi0) <Adaptec AHA-294X Ultra SCSI host adapter> found at PCI 9/0 (scsi0) Wide Channel, SCSI ID=7, 16/255 SCBs (scsi0) Downloading sequencer code... 413 instructions downloaded scsi0 : Adaptec AHA274x/284x/294x (EISA/VLB/PCI-Fast SCSI) 5.1.20/3.2.4 <Adaptec AHA-294X Ultra SCSI host adapter> scsi : 1 host.
