I have SuSe 6.2 or 6.1, and I have been using it since 5.0. I have found SuSE to be a little more complicated than RH, but I still enjoy it. I also like that I can put a SuSE disk into a RH box and load programs from it. There is no reason for a distro war on this topic. Everything worked out, I have it setup and I love it. Personally I am waiting until I become a little more experienced before trying Debian though. I am looking forward to it. -----Original Message----- From: Martin DiViaio [mailto:scatterbrained@mailandnews.com] Sent: Tuesday, January 11, 2000 8:06 PM To: plug@lists.nothinbut.net Subject: Re: [PLUG] Red Hat 6.1 deluxe At the risk of starting yet another war... The best X setup tool I personally have used is SuX that came on SuSE 6.1. It was the only tool that could get 24bit color on my laptop. ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://plug.nothinbut.net Announcements - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://plug.nothinbut.net Announcements - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug
