RE: [PLUG] hosting flash on apache

Yes. There are two mime types that have to be defined for the Apache
server(pp 259 of the manual).

application/x-shockwave-flash .swf
application/futuresplash .spl

Charles

Subject: [PLUG] hosting flash on apache

A co-worker with a web page hosted on a remote apache server asked me why
his flash wasn't working, since he knows I'm into Linux.

The url is: http://216.92.153.223/
The flash piece which is referenced by the index.html at that site is:
http://216.92.153.223/booger.swf

It sits there like it's loading still loading forever. He's got it
working fine on his local machine (he can click on the index.html in his
local folder, and it pulls up the flash).

Any ideas ?
