Essential System Administration. Sorry. It is a great book, but you must admit, it is very dry. I would get through a couple of pages and literally fall asleep. I love to read. I am reading the new RHCE book from Global Knowledge. It is about 700 pages, and I have been reading it for two weeks. I am almost 3/4 of the way done. I am also reading a Visual Basic book w/ the same amount of pages and I am finished 3/4 of that book already. I have always admired DaVinci. Essential Unix Administration, or Essential System Administration? I haven't heard of the former, correct me if I'm wrong. Damn fine book, if a bit dated; plus, it provides a more general coverage of Un*x than many Linux-specific books.
