Re: [PLUG] QuickTime for Linux

I forgot to mention the plugin part in my previous post. There's an
excellent plugin simply called plugger
(http://fredrik.hubbe.net/plugger.html) that allows you to configure a
viewer/player for just about any kind of file you want. When you come
across one of those files, plugger will call the program you associated
with that kind of file, and embed it in the page. So along with xanim, you
could use plugger to seamlessly view quicktime, avi, and mpeg movies right
in your browser. Add to this Macromedia flash player and the fact that
Real has finally put out a decent realplayer for linux and web browsing
under linux can be just as multimedia rich as browsing under windows or
MacOS.
