My fault. maybe I should explain the problem.

linux masq firewall with PPTP support.  I use this from an NT
client and works like a charm.

The linux client is able to authenticate but after that nothing.
I ping the IP address I got from the server ok but can;t ping any
machines behind the VPN server. my default route is pointing to
ppp0. shouldn't it be routing thru the gateway firewall?
