You have to change the expiration of the subkey first (I think it will change both if you just change the subkey). Just do the --edit-key like you did, except before doing 'expire' select the subkey first by doing 'key 1' It'll now show a * to the right of sub. (sub* 1024g/....) Then do expire, etc. And it should now set expires: to never (if all went well :) To flip back to the primary key, just type 'key' and the * will go away. --Barry On Sun, Oct 08, 2000 at 09:13:49PM -0400, Darxus@ChaosReigns.com wrote: > darxus@curious:~$ gpg --list-key darxus@chaosreigns.com > pub 1024D/0E9FF879 2000-09-05 Darxus <Darxus@ChaosReigns.com> > sub 1024g/2EEAB976 2000-09-05 [expires: 2001-09-05] > > darxus@curious:~$ gpg --edit-key darxus@chaosreigns.com > gpg (GnuPG) 1.0.2; Copyright (C) 2000 Free Software Foundation, Inc. > This program comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. > This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it > under certain conditions.
