It looks like January will be our biggest keysigning so far, with 7 new people scheduled to join that day. The 2nd biggest was the first, at the July 2000 PADS, with 6 people. Because of the size of this keysigning, and time constraints, and noise at the end of the meeting, I'm wondering if we should do the keysigning in the space between the convention center and the Dock Street pub where we ate last time. Beldon and I talked there. Several advantages: * large area * empty * quiet * inside * warm * we wouldn't need to go outside to get to it * it's on the way to where we'll probably eat * I don't think we'd be in anyone's way * I don't think anyone would care You wouldn't need directions, you'd just follow us from the meeting, it's in the same building as the convention center. It appears to be an open public area which connects several different places within one massive building. I would like some feedback on this thought. I added a "new members per meeting graph" (bar graph) to http://www.phillylinux.org/keys/ I intend to add non-new participant counts to this graph in a different color, but I haven't counted them yet. Perhaps we should warn the dock street pub if we are going to go there this time ? We had about 20 people last time. -- http://www.ChaosReigns.com ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
