Thanx-- I never thought to use undelete. Anyway, it worked like a charm. Well, a very complicated charm, anyways. Took me two days, but I did it. Two things worked in my favor. 1- I knew the approximate size of the file, and 2- it was a file type that my file manager (KDE2) didn't associate with an app. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to grep the files since grep gave me grief over the number of args I was passing it. Oh well, I got it. This time, I've backed up my revocation certificate *and* my secret key. Bill, thanx so much for the help! - -- - -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GIT/MU/CS/PA d s:++ a C++ UA$ P+++ L++>++++ E W++ N++ o-- K w--- O- M+ V-- PS+ PE Y+ PGP+ t+ 5-- X- R* !tv b++ DI++ D+ G++ e+ h--- r+++ y++++ - -----END GEEK CODE BLOCK------- For translation: http://www.kluge.net/ungeek.html -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE6Ye/Lfl/jvXmUpXERAnnXAJ9d7PmYer1OC34Oi16hIwJ3g8t05ACfSdjY KId1JKzoTQGXsEH2Teyyd+0= =Aipu -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
