-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Let me know if there are questions...(ok kindof a spam but just trying to pass on a pretty good deal, sorry darxus :p) more info is on the web page referenced in the forwarded mail. At work, we have several "extra" Cobalt RaQ3 servers that we loaded with the RaQ4 OS, plus up-to-date patches (including the latest dns security stuff). Also, we added ssh, mysql, ntop, lsof, and extra development tools. Network connection is a dual 100bT link 1 hop off internap's phl core "pnap" router (well two if you count our router). Stats: CPU: 300mhz AMD K-6 Memory: 128M Disk: 13g OS: base redhat linux 6, with coablt "web configuration" added Cost: $125/mo, no setup fee. first month is pro-rated per day Support on these is limited, which is why the link says "linuxexpert". If something goes wrong with the hardware, network, or initial install the machine is supported, otherwise you're on your own. The GUI can be disabled, physical access to the box is ASPRE NOC personnel only. - -dwild - ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Tue, 13 Feb 2001 16:52:42 -0500 From: "Rihm, Alan" <alan@aspre.net> To: Employees <employees@aspre.net> Subject: http://ebusiness.aspre.net/linuxexpert/ Hello all, ASPRE has just launched a special "Linux Expert" dedicated RaQ server hosting program for employees and friends. Please take a moment and visit the site at http://ebusiness.aspre.net/linuxexpert/. The "Linux Expert" program (thanks for the name Rick) has been created to make dedicated RaQ server hosting available at the lowest possible pricing. We figure that the Linux Expert doesn't need all the additional service and support that our other customers require, so why charge you for it. There are a limited number of servers, so when we run out, that's it. Of course, we will continue to use this page on the site to sell other RaQ servers that become available under this program. We will send out notices when we add inventory to this page. Feel free to pass this message along to your friends and colleagues. In addition, we have loaded the RaQ 4 GUI on the RaQ 3...pretty slick...huh..(thanks Joel) Regards, Alan Rihm ASPRE, Inc. alan@aspre.net http://www.aspre.net/ - ------------------- Managed e-Business Application Services t. 215.957.2266 Ext. 2114 f. 215.957.2277 113 Rock Road Horsham, PA 19044 - ------------ Output from gpg ------------ gpg: Signature made Wed 14 Feb 2001 06:38:05 PM EST using DSA key ID 1CB8478F gpg: Good signature from "Derek Wildstar <dwild@starforce.com>" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjqLF1cACgkQmFSlcxy4R49qFwCdF4LirCE4jlDYo3CDhbKs232j lZQAoJumDKqwmxHi4QvWZeCcbz12R4q6 =Lfsc -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
