I noticed http://freshmeat.net/projects/linvpn/ on the front page of
Freshmeat.

PoPToP (http://freshmeat.net/projects/linvpn/) was the subject of an
article about VPNs last year in Linux Journal (unfortunately, it doesn't
look like it's online yet --
http://www2.linuxjournal.com/lj-issues/issue74/index.html).

I count 9 packages in Debian unstable relating to "pptp" and "vpn". There
are 24 results on Freshmeat relating to "vpn".

On linuxdoc.org:
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/VPN-HOWTO.html
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/VPN-Masquerade-HOWTO.html
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/Cipe+Masq.html
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/VPN.html
(Note that most of those are more than a few months old...)
