Sorry, I do have /usr/src/linux linked to /usr/src/linux-2.2.18pre11 (I'm using this kernel because its the most recent stable kernel for VA's distro)

The symlinks you spoke of aren't in my /usr/include...what specifically should be symlinked there (the name of the source for the link)?
