hi, i like my acronyms to be a little smaller if all-caps, and so i usually write them {\small ACRONYM} in LaTeX, which turns out nicely. However, this only works if the surrounding text is \normalsize. If I moved something to something like, say, a footnote, the results are horrible, since \small is two steps larger than \footnotesize. in HTML (blarg!), <small> will decrease the font size by one, not set it to an absolute and I am wondering if there is an equivalent for LaTeX? thanks, martin; (greetings from the heart of the sun.) \____ echo mailto: !#^."<*>"|tr "<*> mailto:" net@madduck -- "if beethoven's seventh symphony is not by some means abridged, it will soon fall into disuse." -- philip hale, boston music critic, 1837 ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
