Re: [PLUG] Kernel builds, 2.4.7, and VMware GSX?

Found it - it worked, at least for 2.4.2. Thank you for posting the lead. VMware has nothing about any 2.4.2 kernels on their web site, and I haven't purchased the license yet so I didn't bother submitting a service ticket.

They did mention to me that a new release of GSX would be coming out in August (current version is 1.0.1).

There is a patch available for the 2.4.7 kernels to enable vmware to
build. It was post on the linux-kernel mailing list a couple of days ago,
just search the archives, or let me know and I'll send a copy.
