I'm running Mandrake 8.0. I downloaded the new [1.1] KOffice sources so I could get my hands on Kvivio (Visio like diagramming program). It looks like a great application, and something that Linux has needed for a long time. I've successfuly built and installed it, but when I run it I get a message like this: [mortis@kookaburra mortis]$ kivio koffice (lib kofficecore): ERROR: Couldn't find the native MimeType in kivio's desktop file. Check your installation ! I've searched on Google for that error, and it was suggested that I run kbuildsyscoca, so I did. I also found advice saying to copy a few files from /usr/local/kde/share/applink/Office to my ~/.kde directory, but I coudln't get that to work either. Has anyone run into this and found a solution?
