Whoops. Rather, the Pioneer screen I pointed at costs $20k, but it
is possible to get a 50 inch plasma for more like $7k. (See
pricewatch.com.)
Keep in mind that these things are maybe not all they're cracked up
to be... their resolution is still only about 1024x768. Give me a
good 21 inch CRT (like the ones Sun's shipping with Sun Blade 100s
these days) and I'll be happy.
