Hi all, I just installed KDE 2.2.2 on RedHat 7.2 via the RPMs from kde.org, and now kdm no longer works. I can get to KDE by typing 'startx' at the commandline. Any ideas on how to fix kdm? NOTE: When I was installing the kdebase-2.2.2-1 RPM, it gave me errors about /usr/share/config/kdm being a directory, so I renamed it kdm_old, and then moved it back to the old name after installing the RPM. Think that might be a problem? -=[ Specs ]=- 800 MHz P3, 256 MB RAM, 10GB drive, RedHat 7.2 for i386 (downloaded, not store-bought) % rpm -qa | grep kde kdelibs-2.2.2-1 kdelibs-sound-2.2.2-1 kdeaddons-noatun-2.2.2-1 kdeutils-2.2.2-1 kdegraphics-2.2.2-1 kdeaddons-kate-2.2.2-1 kdemultimedia-2.2.2-1 kdenetwork-2.2.2-1 kdelibs-sound-devel-2.2.2-1 kdevelop-2.0.2-2 kdebase-devel-2.2.2-1 lockdev-1.0.0-14 kdeadmin-2.2.2-2 kdepim-2.2.2-1 switchdesk-kde-3.9.7-1 kdeartwork-locolor-2.2.2-1 kdeartwork-2.2.2-1 kdeaddons-konqueror-2.2.2-1 kdenetwork-ppp-2.2.2-1 kdelibs-devel-2.2.2-1 kdebase-2.2.2-1 % -- Tobias DiPasquale Solaris System Administrator Electrical and Computer Engineering Dept.
