Marc,
Please keep us posted, because I plan to install the Hurd as soon as I
buy a play-box to get it working on. I am really interested in the
theory and implementation behind the Hurd and would love to work on the
code and architecture. I'm sure other PLUGers are also interested in it
as well. Let us know how it's going for you. Thanks :)

I would love to, but not until I have something to talk about ;).
When I have more experience/information I will definately be up for
that, if it's something that the members of PLUG are interested
in.

It's very rough and NOT for the faint of heart, but I think it's
extremely interesting. I haven't had too much time to play with it,
though. On the surface it "looks" like an unstable Debian install. I
can report more later if anyone is interested, but it may be a little
off-topic, being that this a Linux list and the Hurd isn't. ;)
My personal opinion is that just about anything Unix related is on-topic
for this list, despite it's name, and I would be very interested in any
Hurd reports you choose to post.
Have you considered giving a talk on Hurd?
Thanks,
