RE: [PLUG] where to buy on line?

 and one other thing -

does anyone know about SUN hardware? particularily older stuff. i have an
SPARCstation 4 that i once setup with mandrake 7 or redhat 7 (don't recall
exactly). When i set it up i had a sun monitor for it, which i subsequently
sold along with a lunchbox style sparcstation. after i sold it i realized
that i had never enabled ssh or even telnet, so i can't get into the box to
do anything to it. at one point i got what i thought was an adapter which
change the sun video connector to standard PC style connector. i don't think
it was the proper connnector - i had about a second of almost legible video
then nothing - i think i blew the video. i pretty much confirmed this by
getting my hands on the original monitor - no luck.

so my question is - does anyone know how i can get a terminal connection to
this or get into the PROM via a terminal connection?

thanks
chris

I have not had many bad experiences with vendors from
www.pricewatch.com. Is there a specific hardware item you are
looking for (hard drive, monitor, etc.)?

i'd like to know where are some good places to buy computer stuff
on-line?
do you have a preferred trusted vendor? i understand crucial is great
for
ram (wish i had known that before buying from edgemicro.com - very
crappy
return policy and i still haven't gotten my money back - months
later), what
other places are reputable?

thanks
