No secret that I'd rather put debian on there, but this is for work, so please, I'd like help mostly for the rh gurus out there. The installer for 7.2 (enigma) boots fine until it begins anaconda. Then it hangs. I checked errata, but it's not there. I'm going to file a bug report if someone else can reproduce this. I checked their errata page, and this is not listed as a problem. I even used their updates floppy, trying: linux updates text expert at the boot prompt in order to turn as much fancy stuff off. (I don't want my hand held, I just need to install.) The same cdrom worked great in five other dell computers, none of them were poweredge 4300, though. Oh, also, the rescue component of the same cd worked great so I know that this is an ananconda problem. Can someone w/ rh experience please give me some clues as to what I can do next except complain to rh (which I will do if this is indeed to an incompatability).
