>From the godaddy.com web site... Question Network solutions and register.com charge $35/yr for domain name registration. I guess you have to go thru one of these registrars. If you are only charging us $8.95/yr, are you losing money on it, because you have to pay a registrar $35/yr. Or we will get a separate bill from one of those two firms? Or will you let us host our address at your site only? Answer Go Daddy software is a fully accredited Registrar of domain names. ICANN, the governing body of domain names has approved Go Daddy as a registrar. We use no one else's services for completing your registration of a domain name. We are a direct competitor of Network Solutions so we offer a better price of $8.95 per year with no hidden fees and no gimmicks on a domain name registration. We do not lose money on the registration but do not make the huge profits Network Solutions does. **************************** * Doug Crompton * * Richboro, PA 18954 * * 215-431-6307 * * * * doug@crompton.com * * wa3dsp@wa3dsp.ampr.org * * http://www.crompton.com * **************************** ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
