When Gnome tries to feed it a sound event the entire system will lock solid to the point where you can only hit the power button and pray the system comes back safely. What research I have had the time to do didn't turn up much except some possible conflicts with ALSA that appear to have been resolved so I am not sure what could be causing the problem. ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
